New York City Police (NYPD) Museum

The New York City Police Museum (NYCPM) celebrates the history and contributions of the 158-year history of the New York City Police Department. The museum is located in Lower Manhattan in New York City, near Wall Street and the South Street Seaport.

The museum includes the "Wall of Heroes" exhibit, which commemorates NYPD officers killed in the line of duty, including those that died during the September 11, 2001 attacks.

"United Response: Commemorating 9/11" opens Sunday, September 10th, at the Museum,

Normally closed on Sundays, the museum will be open on the 10th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission that day, as well as on September 11th, will be free to all.

Regular museum hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and suggested admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors, and $2 for children aged six to eighteen.
